What do I do in my school dress?
Absolutely anything and everything! Whether you run, swim, skydive, snowboard, ski, or even sleep — whatever you do, do it in a dress! We've seen fundraisers jump out of planes, fly planes, run marathons, walk the Camino de Santiago, host bake sales or movie nights or just do the groceries! It's not about what you do, it's about advocating for girls' education and raising funds for One Girl's education programs, which are working to change the fact that 132 million girls around the world are denied an education.
When can I Do It In A Dress, is there a specific day?
You can Do It In A Dress anytime of the year, whenever you'd like! We have 'do-it-in-a-dressers' all year round — and all around the globe. Although you can Do It In A Dress anytime, this year the campaign runs in October– when thousands of people will raise the roof and fundraise the most for One Girl's education programs! International Day Of The Girl on October 11th is also an excellent day to do a challenge in your school dress and raise awareness!
Do you need to have a team?
No you don't need a team to Do It In A Dress – but having a team can make fundraising a whole lot funner! Whether you have a group or just a buddy, two (or more) heads is always better than one when it comes to thinking what you could do in your school dress.
