I'm fundraising for girls' education

Hi there!

My name is Charlotte and I am one of the many One Girl ambassadors advocating for girls' education. I am an ambassador because I sincerely care about access to education for all, regardless of gender or economic status. 

Periods, poverty, family expectations, financial situations and now COVID-19 are all barriers that stop young women reaching their full potential. One Girl is a charity that works predominately in Sierra Leone helping combat these barriers. 

Your donations will go towards uniforms, textbooks, money for lunch, sanitary pads, hand sanitiser, face mask, study materials and extracurricular classes. As well as funding other programs that educate, inspire and empower girls in Sierra Leone.

Hello everyone!

WooHoo! We just reached $512 for One Girl!! That's half way there to my goal of $1000 dollars. 

Thank you so much for your support!!

One Girl is making a difference in the lives of so many young women in Sierra Leone and Uganda!

 However, when you educate a girl, a whole community changes. Educated women help in the fight against climate change, Educated women make positive change in their communities, Educated women send their children to school and Educated women put 90% of what they earn back into their families. 

We still have some way to go.
