I'm a Student of education at Notre Dame studying education I was lucky enough to receive a fantastic education and they are some years I hold dear. I know study education at the University of Notre Dame Australia with the aim of giving that education to future generations. I believe all children regardless of race, religion or creed, deserve the right to have a childhood that consists of friendship, imagination and love and the ability to learn and follow their passion to where ever it may lead them.
I'm Doing It In A Dress because I believe education is a universal right....
I will be attending my University classes on the 11th of October (International day of the girl) in a girls school uniform to symbolise how lucky we are and cement my want to change and improve the world of education near and far ... 130 million girls around the world are out of school. Educating girls not only changes the lives of those girls but also their families, communities and countries. Not only that but getting more girls in school will have a positive impact on climate change! A win-win-win.
I'm putting on a school dress to raise awareness and raise funds for girls' education. Because when I put on a dress, I'll be helping girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda put on a school dress and take charge of their futures.
Help me change the world through girls' education!
