I'm Doing It In A Dress because...
130 million females around the world aren't in school, simply because they were born a girl. What if the clothes you wore for a month could change this?
From a young age, my dream has always been to become a teacher. After completing primary school and high school, I am now lucky enough to be studying an education degree at university. With this goal, my life will always be devoted to education - whether this be my own education or educating others - and it breaks my heart to think that this right is not a reality for everyone.
This is the reason I've decided to join the DO IT IN A DRESS campaign with Duchesne College for 2019. For the month of September I will be wearing a school dress to raise awareness and funds to help young girls in Africa get access to education. Our goal this year is to raise $10,000. If you are able to donate even the smallest amount, please do! Every little bit counts and would be much appreciated. Just $300 can educate one girl for a whole year!
