Why I Said Yes To the DressI'm Doing It In A Dress because... 130 million girls around my age are out of school. Whether it be due to prejudice or money, these girls are unable to learn about the history and sciences that run our world. They are unable to strive for a higher education. To become a lawyer, a doctor or whatever it be. For those who don't know, I am originally from Nepal, the one with that big mountain (Mt Everest). If it hadn't been for my parents adopting me, I most likely wouldn't have had an education. I wouldn't have been able to strive to go to uni. I wouldn’t be able to take charge of my future. I wouldn’t be where I am today. I recognise my privilege to be able to go to school and not fear that someone will tell me no. I've said yes to the dress because I believe every girl has the right to have an education. With my team, I want to help raise awareness and funds for girl's education. I'll be putting on a dress because when I do, I'll be encouraging and helping the girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda to put on a school dress and take charge of their futures. Please donate and help us change the world. "Investing in girl's education is the very best thing we can do, not just for our daughters, but for their families, their communities, and their countries" - Michelle Obama
