This year, I’m stepping onto the softball/teeball field in a dress – and it’s not just for fun. I’m doing it to raise money for One Girl, a charity helping educate girls in some of the most challenging parts of the world.
This year, I’m doing it in a dress – at a sports event – to raise money for One Girl.
Why? Because education is a basic human right, but millions of girls around the world are still denied the chance to go to school simply because they were born female.
So I’m showing up – in a dress – in a place where girls are often told what they can or can't do, and proving that you can be strong, committed, and make a difference, no matter what you're wearing.
I’m raising funds for One Girl, an incredible charity working in places like Sierra Leone and Uganda to break down the barriers that stop girls from getting an education. From school fees to period products, they're tackling the real, everyday obstacles that keep girls out of the classroom.
Wearing a dress at a sports event might turn some heads – but that’s the point. It starts conversations, challenges stereotypes, and shines a light on the fact that millions of girls don't get to choose what their future looks like.
I’m doing it for them – for choice, for education, and for equality. Every dollar you donate helps One Girl put another girl in school and give her the tools to shape her own future.
Let’s make some noise. Let’s make change happen – one girl at a time.
